great pickup - must have "fallen off the back of a truck" at that price. That's an absolute steal.;-)

with it's features is the GA-1000 the best analog digital in the $175 range?

 

I'm all digital guy. But when i saw that illumination at some reviews on youtube for the first time i said to myself I got to have it!

I'm really torn between the 1000 and the GW3500B-1A! I love the looks of both! Anyone who has both care to chime in? I'm worried about the solar, if I don't wear it every day, if it dies etc. stuff like that.

Help me make my decision!

My first ever Ana-Digi watch.
I like every bit of the watch from styling to placements. I do agree it looks like a sad face with a wink but thats only if im staring at it, still a cool looking watch nonetheless.

 

Sorry for the poor lighting, (can't see the blue vs black) but here's a new GA1000-2A that arrived yesterday, and I had bought parts from pac parts to convert the blue too black, and I was going to install a black stainless bracelet from a GWA1000D-1. When I took it apart this morning I realized I ordered two upper bezel and don't have the bottom one Will have to wait another day.

 

I have really enjoyed this watch. Very handsome and functional. My only wish is to find a BLACK PVD BUCKLE that will fit. If you guys know of any, please let me know.

 

From the looks of it, this RAF one you showed in the thread you started, ought to fit. It's identical in every way but the script, buckle, keeper and possibly shade of color. I'd go for it, if it weren't too expensive. My guess is, it probably is though.

You may want to price the composite bracelet for GA1000FC-1 to see if it's close to RAF strap's. If so, then that would make it a much better choice for me.

Does anyone know where I may find a Black PVD double tang buckle for my GA 1000-8A?
Or, will the GWA1000RAF-1A strap fit this watch? You guys are the experts and I need your help.Thanks guys.

Its both:
The lume is triggeed by sunlight as well as with the black light illuminator LED.
There is even lume "afterglow" when the LED is off.
